Vejle striker Hermann Onugha became the top scorer in the Danish Super League in the 2023/2024 season.

Onugha is of Nigerian descent on his father's side, and his mother is Russian. He was born in Moscow. He began his career at Zenit Penza, where he made his debut at the age of twenty. Then he moved to the Astrakhan Volgar, played for Krasnodar, and in the winter of 2021 he became a player of the Danish club Vejle. Onugha was initially signed on loan for the season, but the club then extended his contract due to his talent. As part of "Veile" he scored a hat-trick for Horsens at the 63rd, 84th and 90th minutes. In the same year, he played for Krylia Sovetov on loan, and a year later — for the Kazan "Rubin" and the Israeli "Bnei Sakhnin".

Extensive experience playing in clubs in different countries, outstanding talent as a striker and the ability to play the game hard and strategically made Onugha a real star.
